Motorcycle Suspension Key Account (m/f/d)

In this position, you will promote and support sales activities for motorcycle European OEMs and related tier suppliers for motorcycle components for shock absorbers.

You will be part of Astemo’s Motorcycle Division and Suspension Business Unit.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

• Identifying needs and the best solution for OEMs. Communicating results to customers through written reports.
• Production management support for project launches by working with OEM & Tier to accomplish milestones.
• Troubleshooting issues by working with the OEM & Tier to identify the root cause & implement solutions.
• Defining and developing new business and/or new product opportunities.
• RFI/RFQ preparation/negotiation with OEMs and related departments.
• Providing 'voice of customer' and new product ideas to the internal organization.
• Gathering customers' business plan information.
• Preparing business and sales plans according to customer information.
• Price negotiations.
• Technical presentation/exhibition support.
• Budget controlling.
• Project management from development until EOP.
• Outstanding payment follow-up.
• Internal meetings participation and presentation.
• Marketing analysis for the market in general and competitors.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Your Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing.
• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the motorcycle industry.
• Experience in project management and technical support activities with customers.
• Fluency in German and English.
