Medical Science Liaison Manager (m/f/d)

Territory: South Germany (Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Pfalz, Saarland)

Your Responsibilities

As a Medical Science Liaison Manager, you will be part of the DACH Medical team, responsible for:

• Developing and executing the local MSL plan, including product launches, evidence generation, expert engagement, medical education, publications, and communications.
• Building professional relationships with healthcare professionals to provide current medical and scientific information on our products and related diseases.
• Ensuring medical insights and field intelligence inform strategic planning and flagging key issues to the organization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scientific services, including educating speakers, training team members, reviewing new product opportunities, and enhancing the portfolio.
• Responding to healthcare professional inquiries with balanced clinical and scientific information.
• Establishing and maintaining contact with medical, research, and educational societies, healthcare professionals, and external experts.
• Developing high-quality medical/scientific communication materials.
• Demonstrating project leadership and management within the field team and therapeutic area.
• Participating in medical education through presentations at healthcare facilities, meetings, conferences, and advisory boards.
• Assisting in the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of clinical studies, acting as the point of contact for investigator-initiated study ideas and requests.

Your Qualifications

We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Ideal candidates will have:

• A life science degree
• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or a scientific background with field sales experience, eager to transition into an MSL role
• Experience in biosimilars and/or innovative medicines preferred
• Ability to quickly learn new subject areas and environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with external experts, physicians, and healthcare decision-makers
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of medical affairs
• Exceptional customer-facing skills
• Strong project management skills
• Fluency in English and the local language, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel regularly within the country of employment (field-based role)
• A positive, solution-oriented approach, responsiveness, flexibility, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
