The Team

The Medical Advisor will join the Medical Affairs team at Mundipharma and play a vital part in the launch of an anti-infective product with the main focus on the German market.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide scientific consultation for the company's products within the local organisation, with a particular focus on growth brands. This involves contributing to the local medical strategy, aligning medical goals, and ensuring the implementation of medical brand positioning and patient-centric approaches. Additionally, the role entails broadening the required medical knowledge within the organisation according to business needs and priorities.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Providing scientific consultation for the company’s products in the local organisation, with a focus on growth brands
2. Broadening of medical knowledge
3. Close cooperation with the Country Medical Director

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in the role of Medical Advisor or Medical Manager and sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Anti-infectives or specifically the infectiology/mycology therapy area would be ideal but not essential.
• Proven experience and knowledge of the German market and EfPIA industry codes of conduct.
• Ideally degree qualified in natural sciences or comparable education - Preferably in medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences or biology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking, relationship cultivation, open and agile mindset.
• Solid presentation development and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret scientific data, translate and summarise scientific papers to meet the needs of the target audience.
• Work on the basis of integrity and trust.
• Strong business acumen with great attention to detail.
• Business fluent in both English and German.
• Be a digital native.
