Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with Radiopharmaceutical experience to join our expanding team at Scitech GmbH. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, construction, and validation of radiopharmaceutical facilities, leveraging their expertise in mechanical engineering principles and radiopharmaceutical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and engineer radiopharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Develop detailed mechanical designs for facility layout, equipment, and utilities, considering factors such as radiation shielding, HVAC systems, and containment requirements.
• Perform structural analyses and feasibility studies to assess the integrity and performance of mechanical systems in radiopharmaceutical facilities.
• Specify and select appropriate equipment and materials for radiopharmaceutical processes, ensuring compatibility with radioactive materials and GMP requirements.
• Lead procurement activities, including vendor selection, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations for mechanical components and systems.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification of mechanical systems in radiopharmaceutical facilities, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address mechanical hazards and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients on mechanical engineering aspects of radiopharmaceutical facility design and construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, construction, and validation of pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical facilities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards governing radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, including GMP and containment guidelines.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
