Material Scientist Expert (m/f/d)

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid (< 50% remote)

Your Tasks:

• Management of material development projects
• Assessment of materials, technologies, and products
• Validation of test procedures
• Planning, coordination, and evaluation of material tests
• Creation/maintenance of material specifications
• Cross-functional communication in a matrix organization

Your Qualifications:

• Degree: PhD or Master in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on material science/composite materials/reinforced plastics
• Detailed knowledge in composite material characterization, especially fiber-reinforced plastics
• Project management skills are advantageous
• Experience in specification of fiber-reinforced plastics and its components
• Experience regarding sandwich material properties
• Knowledge in composite material testing
• Creation of specifications/reports/documents with high standards
• Experience in assessment of technologies/material/supplier advantageous
• Good communication skills in English and German
