In 2024, EU Global Selling is launching a new Strategic Account Services (SAS) program. This program aims to enhance the Amazon customer and Selling Partner experience globally by collaborating directly with German Selling Partners to improve value, selection, and convenience on their US Amazon business. The team will innovate across technology, processes, and people to launch and scale the program, enhance seller engagement and satisfaction, and enable scalable global solutions through cooperation with the US, Europe, and China Teams.


DE Global Selling is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketplace Consultant to recruit, develop Selling Partners, and help launch and scale the DE to US Strategic Account Services (SAS) program. The Marketplace Consultant will work with a limited number of DE Selling Partners to assist them in growing their business on Amazon’s US Store. Responsibilities include providing support on new programs, utilizing Amazon’s marketing tools, advising on account strategy, global logistics, and global selection listing. Additionally, they may support recruitment and onboarding of Selling Partners onto this new service and act as their primary point of contact. The Marketplace Consultants' work will be supported by various services to address operational and technical issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Paid Service programs.
  2. Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective Selling Partners for DE to US SAS based on a clear understanding of their needs.
  3. Manage a portfolio of Selling Partners strategically to drive sustainable GMS growth.
  4. Analyze customer data and make recommendations based on the DE to US SAS Playbook.
  5. Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in the portfolio.
  6. Utilize CRM tools to track account information and sales progress.
  7. Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective assigned portfolio.
  8. Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace services industry and DE export macro environment.
  9. Manage additional projects around the Paid Service such as process, tool, and content development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in German and English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment
  • High attention to detail and the management of multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Sound business judgment and ability to influence others
  • Creative and has initiative
