The Role

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Manager with a generalist profile to drive Readly's growth in the German market. This exciting position offers significant ownership, a wide scope of operational tasks, creative, strategic and data driven work. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention in our largest and fastest growing market.

Team Mission

Our mission is to elevate Readly's brand presence and accelerate subscriber growth in the German market. The Marketing team plays a crucial role in communicating Readly's value proposition to potential and existing customers, leveraging a mix of digital and traditional marketing channels to achieve our ambitious growth targets and significantly contributing to revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Operational Execution

• Develop and implement holistic marketing strategies, including full funnel media planning and ownership of budget for DACH region with focus on German market and aligned with Readly’s global marketing strategy.

• Create and manage 360° marketing campaigns across the whole channel mix.

• Responsible for planning and execution of local marketing channels including influencers, podcasts, traditional media and more.

• Show data excellence with tracking and analysing ambitious short- and long-term KPIs and growth targets for the German market, aligned with global business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing stakeholders, as well as external marketing agencies, ensuring alignment, optimizing performance, and following operational excellence.

Data-driven Insights and Market Opportunity Identification

• Drive customer acquisition and retention through data-driven marketing initiatives.

• Analyze marketing metrics and consumer insights to optimize campaigns and strategies.

• Manage marketing budget and resources efficiently to maximize full funnel performance and profitability metrics.

• Identify growth opportunities, creative ideas and new channel initiatives to enable growth.

• Stay at the forefront of marketing trends to continuously innovate Readly's marketing strategies and adapt to market changes.

Content creation and cross-departmental work

• Support the development of compelling marketing content that resonates with the German audience.

• Collaborate with the global marketing team to adapt and localize marketing initiatives for the German market.

• Ensure the best use of Readly’s portfolio in the DACH region within marketing activities

• Work with other stakeholders in marketing and product on all stages of the user lifecycle, from activation and conversion to reactivation and retention

Who You Are

Experienced Marketer: You have experience in marketing roles, with a holistic marketing understanding and a profound understanding in the execution of various marketing channels and the marketing funnel, as well as in media planning. You are used to constant exposure to business data and have a routine in the work with monthly targets.

Strategic Thinker: You possess the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth.

Data-Driven Decision Maker: You have a strong analytical mindset and experience in using data to inform marketing decisions and optimize performance.

Creative Mind: You have a creative marketing mind, think outside the box and let creative marketing ideas flow. You are always seeking new ways to engage customers and drive results.

Excellent Communicator: Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and German allow you to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
