Marketing Manager

We are partnering with a Leading Sporting Goods Business on the search for a Marketing Manager. This is a permanent role based in Frankfurt.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring brand presence is optimized across various channels and touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage marketing strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and client expectations.
  • Create and manage marketing plans for client approval and lead the execution across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on all marketing activities and consistent delivery of brand messages.
  • Work closely with brands to meet their objectives, tracking ROI and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Manage P&Ls for each marketing plan, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Produce creative briefs, develop concepts, and generate ideas that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Manage marketing activations and campaigns from inception through execution, ensuring high engagement and impact.
  • Work with external agencies to develop marketing materials such as POS, digital assets, and merchandise.
  • Attend key client meetings, presenting marketing strategies and outcomes.
  • Oversee photography and videography for campaigns and events, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, handle purchase orders, and oversee marketing P&Ls.
  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure marketing efforts stay within budget, focusing on maximizing ROI.
  • Ensure marketing content is accurate, up-to-date, and consistently implemented across channels.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients through regular reviews, meetings, and updates on campaign performance.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to foster growth and increased brand investment.
  • Incorporate sustainable practices and solutions in marketing initiatives to align with company sustainability goals.

What we’re looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing management, preferably within an agency or brand environment.
  • Proven track record in account and project management.
  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of marketing processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Solid financial skills, including budget management.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with attention to detail in handling multiple projects.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and delivering brand-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to identify marketing needs and offer creative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Organized, flexible, and proactive with a strong, positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with suppliers and external agencies.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong presentation abilities.
