Marketing Director

Location: We are flexible! Come and join us either in Hamburg, Berlin, Barcelona, or London.

FREENOW is looking for a dynamic and innovative Marketing Director. Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee our international marketing teams and own our marketing efforts across 9 European markets.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Lead and manage our marketing teams across all countries, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across 9 European markets.
• Foster a culture of innovation, constantly challenging the status quo to drive growth.
• Represent the marketing team in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.
• Maintain open communication channels within the team and with senior management.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
• Use a data-driven approach to make our marketing efforts measurable.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Proven experience in leading marketing teams within the European market.
• Strong background in performance and app marketing, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
• Excellent leadership skills and a high-performing team mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English is a must.
• Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in scaling a technology marketplace.
• Openness, flexibility, and curiosity - demonstrating a creative mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills while being pragmatic and fast.
