Marine Field Engineer

A Japanese manufacturer of environment-friendly marine vessel equipment is seeking motivated people to be Marine Field Engineers in their international team.

They provide an attractive compensation package and training. The role includes up to 50% international business trips and would ideally suit those keen to start a career in Marine Engineering where they can make a positive difference.

TYPE: Full-time role, initially 6 months contract (potential to be extended)
WORKING HOURS: Mon – Friday 9:00-17:00 (1 hour lunch break)
SALARY: €35-70k including holiday allowance and bonus + Business Trip allowance
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Rotterdam, The Netherlands (MAX 50% Business Trip and 50% office base)

Marine Field Engineer Responsibilities:

1. On-site installation verification, adjustment, inspection, repair, and commissioning tasks for marine products
2. Technical advisory services and quotation preparation, including troubleshooting for clients and service engineers (via phone, email, web connection)
3. Personal skill enhancement through participation in training sessions and educational programs, as well as tasks related to the improvement of service network maintenance, such as creating and streamlining various documents (digitalization), and planning and conducting training sessions

Marine Field Engineer Ideal Candidate:

1. Motivation to be a Marine Field Engineer
2. Any background or experience as a service engineer is welcome
3. Valid Driving license in the Netherlands
4. Speak fluent in English
5. Good team player and motivation to learn new skills
6. Flexibility for international business trips
