Your Tasks
Your Tasks:
- Cost estimation for site conditions campaigns and commissioning of desktop studies in the early project phase.
- Scoping, tendering, awarding, and controlling the site investigation surveys (geophysical acquisition, boreholes and downhole CPTs), further offshore investigations (e.g. reef mapping, bathymetric investigations) and laboratory programming.
- Scoping, tendering, awarding, and controlling of the pre-construction UXO survey, as well as identification and clearance campaigns.
- Procurement and compilation of the descriptive parameters of the environmental conditions (metocean data) for the respective project area and creation of the client's design basis.
- Assessment and evaluation of the site investigation information (CPT data, borehole data and laboratory testing data) regarding possible foundation types.
- Proactively support the interface management between the GEO/metocean work package and other work packages.
Your Profile
Your Profile:
- You have a master's degree or the equivalent in geotechnical engineering.
- Relevant experience in soil investigation, evaluation of site data, soil structure interaction, UXO survey and clearance campaigns as well as metocean data.
- Existing knowledge and experience in project management is desirable.
- Familiarizing yourself with new tasks at a short notice period and taking initiative and ownership are strong traits of yours.
- Fluency in Business English is required for the position; German language skills is a plus.
- You are a strong team player with good communication and persuasion skills who enjoys working in intercultural teams.
