Manager (m/f/d) for Learning and Development

We are looking for a Manager (m/f/d) for Learning and Development Germany who is supporting our commercial launch activities based in our German Affiliate organization in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.

About the role

This role partners with key stakeholders, Talent Partners, and the TA&L team (Launch Excellence and Learning Operations). They act as an ambassador for our global UCB learning strategy. As well as being reactive and responding to ad-hoc learning requests, the Learning and Development Manager (m/f/d) must also proactively listen to and capture business needs and assess whether or which learning solution can address them. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining positive internal customer relationships across G2M business
• Key focus on-boarding of all new HCPP
• Delivering impactful results
• Supporting launch training plans for new products and indications for pre, at launch and post
• Translating and aligning in-field execution training materials to the business messaging
• Assisting in the development of a learning mindset in an environment of trust, reflection, empowerment, and knowledge sharing

In this role, your main accountabilities will include:

• Setting, maintaining, and working on continuous improvements of learning for the German G2M Team
• Working on the continuous improvement of learning mindset of local teams
• Acting as an outstanding course facilitator
• Contributing to the G2M EU team on its objectives and priorities

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Great knowledge of sales training and/or experience as sales representative/management
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in learning and/or talent development, ideally within pharma commercial, high growth, innovative companies
• Experience in project management
• A high passion for learning and sharing knowledge with others
• German and English skills at a very high level
