The Manager Human Resources leads and manages a team of individual contributors and collaborates with the Global Human Resource Business Partner community to build a culture, at the local level, that enables change and increases performance of his/her team and client groups while influencing managerial and organizational effectiveness with the goal to drive SBU/ Function business results. It is critical for the Manager Human Resources to earn the trust and respect at all levels, and to be considered a role model by others through his/her ability to blend his/her human resources knowledge with a collaborative style while reinforcing Parexel's behaviours.
Please note: This role is a 12 month fixed term contract
Key Accountabilities
Support all aspects of the employment life cycle, as needed , including compensation, benefits, recognition, development, employee relations, compliance, and separations of employment
Demonstrate and model effective leadership in communicating with both an in-office and decentralized workforce, both internal and external to Human Resources, in a way that builds engagement and supports organizational success
Develops and implements solutions that enhance the service quality of the team that are cost effective within Human Resources and the business
Coach managers and supervisors on performance, development and other key areas
Undertakes the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of their team to ensure their performance meets and or exceed both the business and their own personal goals/objectives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and legislative requirements
Implement and maintain Human Resources’ policies and practices that are compliant, and reflective of the Parexel's values and culture
Analyze human resources data for business area, at the country/cross country level, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance service quality and cost effectiveness i.e.: Labor Turnover trends, absence management etc.
Lead regional projects on process improvement initiatives

Knowledge and Experience
Seven to ten years human resource experience
One - five years supervisor/management experience of teams with between two and ten employees
Experience working in a global organisation advantageous
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent discipline
A professional qualification/certification in Human Resources is a plus
