Aufgaben

As a Plant Operator, you'll join our team at our first pilot plant in Munich, the heart of our industrial production at tozero. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of our production equipment, ensuring product quality, and handling raw materials and finished products. You'll tackle new challenges daily and develop practical solutions to optimize production processes, all while gaining valuable experience for future projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation and Monitoring: Regularly operate, inspect, and clean production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Material Handling: Manage the manual transfer of raw materials and containers, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Receiving and Storage: Conduct inspections of incoming materials and oversee their proper storage.
• Assembly Work: Collaborate with the engineering team on various assembly tasks to maintain the efficiency and functionality of our systems.
• Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks, analyze samples, and ensure compliance with our high standards.
• Maintenance and Inspection: Assist in the maintenance and calibration of field instruments while participating in routine maintenance activities.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Heavy Machinery Operation: Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes, as needed.
• On-Site Material Handling: Handle, transport, load, and unload materials on-site.
• Laboratory Experiments: Conduct lab experiments as needed and document results.

Qualifikation

What You Bring To The Table:

• Professional Qualification: You possess a completed technical vocational training, such as Chemical Technician, Production Specialist in Chemistry, Machine and Plant Operator, or a comparable qualification.
• Practical Skills: With your hands-on mentality, you find practical solutions to challenges and actively contribute your ideas to optimize operations and production processes.
• Quality Awareness: You work with a strong focus on quality, are reliable, and have a keen eye for detail.
• Industry Interest: You are eager to dive deeper into the field of battery recycling and understand what goes on behind the scenes.
• Flexibility: You are willing to work shifts if necessary.
• Independence and Reliability: You are dependable and can work independently.
• Team Player: You are innovative, open-minded, and work well in a team.
• Language Skills: You are fluent in English (we are happy to provide support for language acquisition).
• Additional Experience: You have experience operating heavy machinery and process equipment, knowledge of basic construction tasks (such as assembly and loading), and familiarity with field instrument maintenance. Experience with lab experiment procedures is a plus.
• Safety Commitment: You have a strong commitment to safety and adhere to safety protocols, along with the physical fitness necessary to work in a plant environment.
