You will become part of a great team of logistics allrounders. The work is exciting and meaningful.

Main responsibilities:

• Processes and manages orders (exports/imports) in our transport management system.
• Conducts a "routing check," specifically regarding the selection and combination of different transport models (airplane, car, train, Aerolink).
• Orders drivers (delivery and pickup of shipments at the freight company).
• Packs and sorts shipments/pallets in the warehouse and prepares them for transport by road or air.
• Books shipments in Airline Booking Systems.
• Monitors shipments during transport and reacts flexibly to deviations from the plan.
• Uses and maintains the available technical tools.
• Communicates with national and international World Courier stations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with contractors and transporters (airlines, handling agents, rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc.).
• Distributes corporate and non-corporate supplies to the offices.
• Plans and executes orders.
• Accompanies the cargo to the airplane.
• Preparation and/or procurement of all necessary documentation (HWB, MAWB, import or export permit, export customs paperwork, etc.).
• Preparation of shipments.
• Handling of customs through the inspection and/or procurement of all necessary paperwork for the import or export (import or export permit, export customs paperwork, etc.).
• The determination of all customs and/or taxes and entering these in the TMS.

The team works in 3 shifts (we are looking for someone to at least become part of shifts 1 and 2 but preferably all 3): 1. Morning from 7am, 2. Afternoon/evening from 3pm, 3. Nightshifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Solid German and English skills
• Great team-player mentality
• Readiness to work in shifts (morning and evening shifts, preferably plus night shift)
• Readiness to grow into Logistic Allround Specialist - from paperwork to systems to physical handling
• Interest in pharmaceutical specialty freight forwarding
