What you`ll do
Summary:
The Broadcast Technologies team within CPIT is seeking a creative candidate to support broadcasting and video production activities from our Walldorf, Germany headquarters. We operate a highly visible and critical communication service regularly featuring SAP’s executive board, global leaders, and many lines of business at SAP. The team is responsible for producing and managing high quality live broadcasts via our in-house built platform and other available industry platforms as well as provide video production services globally at SAP.
The Role:
A key responsibility of the role will be to lead or assist in live broadcast production. Duties ranging from broadcast event managing and platform operation, live streaming, audio engineering, camera operation, and more. An additional core responsibility will be to lead or assist in video production activities from our Walldorf studio or at other on-location style shoots.

What you bring
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and consistent performer who can work in a team-oriented environment and manage independent responsibilities. Ability to learn new tools and workflows a must!
- Bachelor’s or specialized degree in film/video, communications, media production or related discipline.
- 5+ Years of experience working hands on in a live production or streaming environment.
- High level understanding of video production techniques and best practices.
- High level written and oral communication skills with a strong alignment to customer service.
- Working knowledge or better of video editing techniques.
- Professional knowledge of video standards and video compression types.
- Hands on experience with live streaming encoder operation and video/audio production.
- Creative portfolio with previous video samples and recommendations available.
