The role

As Legal Counsel in our global legal and compliance department, you will report directly to the Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. You will be based in Germany or Austria. You will provide legal advice to the internal contact persons in their day-to-day business, in particular in connection with the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts. The Legal Counsel also has an important role in ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

How you'll make impact

1. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts, in particular software development contracts with clients (national and international)
2. Active participation in complex customer projects
3. Advising the management and specialist departments on all legal matters
4. Conducting internal training courses on specific legal topics
5. Participation in the further development of the contract and compliance management system (creation of templates, guidelines and regulations)

What’s important to us

1. Master's degree in law, preferably in Switzerland, Germany or Austria
2. Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation, mainly in the area of customized software solutions for clients
3. At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an international company or in an internationally oriented law firm in contract law, intellectual property, corporate law and other areas of law
4. Excellent language skills in German and English are a must
5. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills and affinity for IT/IP law
6. Strong team player mentality and Business-oriented, pragmatic way of working
7. Open personality with good communication skills
8. Ability to work independently and self-organized
9. Ability to drive projects forward and meet deadlines
