Commercial Banking Tribe Domain

You'll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe Domain, focusing on the special needs of small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800,000 clients in 3 brands, including the establishment of the BizBanking platform and the automation of processes for this client segment.

Our tribe domain is on a journey of extensive digitalisation of business processes and migrating our applications to the cloud, working jointly with our business colleagues in an agile setup.

We offer services across several channels including Apps for mobile devices and web applications.

Lead UX / UI Designer

We are looking for a Lead UX / UI designer (m/w/d) to strengthen our team and help us develop innovative banking services.

Your passions are user-centered design, design thinking, usability, and UI design. Your extensive experience allows you to provide both leadership and help to grow the profession. You know the design patterns of iOS & Android and state-of-the-art web technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and have fun creating the best experience for users.

Your key responsibilities

• You are the central go-to person for the UX / UI aspects of our digital client channels, coordinating the design process involving the designers of all our teams and aligning design and branding aspects with stakeholders.
• You analyze new and complex requirements from the business and user perspectives and develop the UX and Visual Design in interdisciplinary teams.
• You work according to the user-centered design processes, especially in the context of mobile & web projects of various sizes and complexities.
• You develop the look and feel of the brand and routinely implement all design details up to documentation.
• In prototyping sessions, you consider target groups and user requirements with an eye for holistic user experience.

Your skills and experiences

• You bring extensive experience in UX / UI functions ideally as Lead Designer with significant impact on product design and leadership.
• Your excellent communication (fluent written and spoken English) and interpersonal skills allow you to be effective among a large and diverse group of stakeholders and team members.
• You have comprehensive knowledge in user experience and user interface design, knowing the iOS User Interface Guidelines and Android Material Guidelines by heart.
• You are an expert in leading design & prototyping tools like Figma and Sketch (must), Adobe Creative Cloud, Flinto, InVision or similar. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
• Your portfolio showcases your design talent, meticulous work, and understanding of design as a problem-solving process. You are courageous and open to new things; you enjoy sharing your experience and enthusiasm.
