Lead Platform Engineer

Job Description

As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the platform team's efforts in our SaaS transformation journey.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Find innovative solutions to complex problems and provide guidance to your teammates.
2. Align platform development efforts with stakeholder needs.
3. Collaborate closely with other corporate teams to ensure aligned development.
4. Participate in the evolution of our cloud architecture.
5. Conduct code reviews and planning sessions.

Requirements

1. Solid cloud engineering experience combined with excellent communication skills.
2. Well-versed developer in cloud- and container technologies with rich experience and desire for ownership.
3. Good understanding of modern container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
4. At least 5 years of practical experience working with GCP.
5. Proven track record of designing/architecting solutions according to business requirements.
6. Experience in a senior engineer role.
7. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
8. Fluency in English (C1 equivalent).
