The Novotel Hamburg Central Station is located in the heart of Hamburg, in the immediate vicinity of the main train station and the city center. The famous shopping street and pedestrian zone Mönckebergstraße is right on the doorstep and the port of Hamburg can be reached in just a few minutes. The 227 elegant and modern rooms offer guests comfort. The "Mysa Eatery" restaurant, a symbiosis of newly interpreted Nordic cuisine and modulated international cuisine, offers guests a new F&B concept. 5 conference rooms and the fitness center round off the hotel's facilities.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant (m / f / d) you are an ambassador for the Novotel brand and the hotel by actively supporting our team in the kitchen. With your experience and passion for the hotel industry, you will work with the hotel management team to position the hotel on the market and contribute to this hotel opening.

What are your tasks :

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
• Preparing the mise-en-place
• Checking the goods and inventory
• Compliance with all quality standards and hygiene regulations according to HACCP
• Care and cleaning of work equipment

What are your qualifications :

• First experience in a similar position
• Good German or English skills
• Passion for your job, high quality awareness and just the right mix of attention to detail and pragmatism
• Friendliness, flexibility, resilience and a sense of responsibility
• A desire for teamwork and to share your enthusiasm and knowledge
