Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and formulate strategies to capitalize on them.
- Identify and research targeted accounts to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic plans in order to convert them to customers.
- Build sales pipeline for key accounts.
- Support the implementation of go-to-market strategy for targeted territory or market segments.
- Cooperate with account sales teams and business development to promote new solutions or improve key account relations.
- Promote company products, solutions, and services.
- Hold customer negotiations, prepare solutions, quotes, tenders.
- Plan and execute new marketing initiatives.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Essential Knowledge:
- Experience in Key Account Management.
- Understanding of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, partner-based business models, basic marketing concepts and instruments, projects, and solution sales technologies.
- Advanced understanding of sales operations.
- Proficient understanding of digital channels, e-commerce.
- Proficient understanding of project management and program management.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Understanding of retail fuel market and related technologies.
- Understanding of forecourt equipment and how it works.
- Understanding of retail and digital payment technology.

Education/Certification:
- BA or higher level in Sales/Marketing/Business/Engineering disciplines.

The Key Account Manager for GAS region is expected to systematically and proactively drive sales of all company products, solutions, and services portfolio in the targeted territory or market segment. The main focus of the role is serving our key account customers in GAS region, building the market, and acting as the focal contact of Gilbarco Veeder-Root in that market.
The Key Account Manager GAS will lead the implementation of go-to-market strategy, develop and implement local strategies aimed to increase sales and build sustainable competitive advantages in the market while closely working together with the European Commercial Leadership Team. Additional responsibilities include building new partnerships, representing the company in industry events and marketing activities, and fostering internal collaboration around sales projects and targets.
