Building the world’s leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. That’s why we’ve been distributed from the start: initially between offices in Boston & Santa Barbara, and now with additional offices around the globe. This role is based from home in Germany with occasional travel to the account’s head office and key locations.
What You’ll Do
Sonos DACH is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Key Account Manager to help drive us towards our mission to inspire the world to listen better. The role will include managing our highly valued mass retail partners Media Markt Saturn Germany/Media Markt Austria. Reporting to the Commercial Director - DACH/PL, this role is focused on driving account relationships and is an exciting opportunity to take on an important role in a growing business. This portfolio is one of the largest in EMEA and requires constant focus on new household growth, best in class partner relationships and exceptional change management skills aligned to company & regional strategy.
In addition, a key part of the role will be to help develop potential new channels and partnerships aligned to our regional strategy. In order to drive continuous growth in the competitive categories we operate in, emphasis is placed on the ability to think beyond day to day account management and look for opportunity in all areas of the accounts with a focus on improving the customer experience.
You will be part of an exciting and dynamic DACH team that includes colleagues in Germany, Netherlands, France, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
The role is focused on driving account relationships in Germany. It is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in a growing business, the largest in EMEA and drive growth, best in class partner relationships and change aligned to company and regional strategy. Internally you will work closely with all functions (External Field Team, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Legal, etc.) to ensure that strategies are being executed to grow the business.
This role will also be responsible for professionalizing the tools and systems linked to our business. As data management plays a relevant part in our process from Strategy to Execution the role will own a couple of tools and cluster responsibilities within this space (e.g. Salesforce, Micro Strategy). The ideal candidate has a strong Commercial and Marketing know-how and is used to working in a decentralized matrix organization.
