They are looking for a remote Senior SEO Specialist to provide strategic and tactical support in implementing and maintaining the best SEO practices across multiple websites. This candidate will provide strategic, data-driven SEO recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their implementation. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills as well as a passion for SEO and a proven track record of driving measurable results.

What you’ll do

In this SEO Specialist role, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Recommending strategies to improve keyword rankings, increase qualified organic traffic, and achieve acquisition goals for the SEO channel for multiple products and sites.
• Understanding clients’ products, their target audiences, and business goals and adjusting SEO recommendations accordingly.
• Analyzing data and conducting keyword research, competitive research, and SERP analyses to inform on-page optimizations, content ideation, and other SEO tactics.
• Crawling sites to diagnose and recommend solutions for technical SEO issues related to crawling, indexation, canonicals, duplicate content, redirects, JavaScript, site architecture, Schema markup, and XML sitemaps.
• Providing SEO-focused Quality Assurance (QA/UAT) support when launching/sunsetting pages, products, and sites.
• Identifying opportunities for white-hat link building and executing outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant domains.
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of keyword rankings, organic traffic, acquisition goals, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize strategies to maximize results.

What you’ll bring

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Is proficient with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Has strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex SEO concepts to cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
• Is self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Has a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
