As Junior Marketing and Business Development Specialist, you will drive our product strategy and contribute with innovative ideas to the business growth by supporting our dynamic sales team.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Organize marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, and support marketing events
  • Drive social selling and optimize strategies for lead generation and customer engagement through social networks
  • Develop marketing strategies and performance indicators to measure campaign success and customer satisfaction (i.e. NPS)
  • Support and train the sales colleagues in the headquarter and the regions with target-group-relevant marketing and sales content
  • Professionalize customer relation management and opportunity planning based on Dynamics (CRM tool) and AI related tools

Planning

  • Host our central locomotive planning tool, ensuring correct loco allocation, forecasting of orders and revenue, as well as loco deliveries in close cooperation with the Vectron platform organization

Offer preparation

  • Analyze customer requests for locomotive upgrades together with the sales & project team
  • Prepare offers in close cooperation with the technical and commercial key accounts, engineering, legal and homologation departments, as well as our service organization
  • Monitor and analyze offer performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results
  • Utilize AI technologies to optimize and enhance the proposal process, making it more efficient and effective

What do you bring along?

  • Master's degree with a focus on business development, sales, marketing and management of product business.
  • Strong background in business development, Experience in project management.
  • Working experience in sales and offer preparation.
  • Skilled in marketing, with expertise in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media and email marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient to understand and connect different cultures.
  • Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. QLIK or PowerBI) and CRM tools, (e.g. Dynamics) database handling.
  • Business fluent in German and English is key; additional languages are helpful.
