(Junior) SAP HANA Python / C++ Build Developer (m/f/d)

What you'll do:
- The development of business-critical applications like SAP HANA demands modern and innovative development processes. Our team designs, develops, and integrates tooling at the heart of C++ development: The make and build.
- As a C/C++ developer in our team you will be responsible for the build definition of the HANA code base and the timely execution of its compilation process.
- The integration of state-of-the-art technologies has proven to be a crucial tool for a performant and scalable build process. You will employ distributed system, cloud and machine learning technologies to the millions of lines of C++ code checked into our Git repository.
- Your work takes place in close collaboration with HANA developers with aim of consistent improvement of their development experience. You constantly investigate and integrate new and innovative state-of-the-art tools and concepts into the build stack and its quality assurance.
What you bring:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science
- Very good programming skills in C++, Python or Rust
- Very good Linux/Unix knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the build process of a C++ application
- Ability to work well in close teamwork across international locations
- Fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written)

About the team:
The HANA Quality Engineering Team is in charge of developing and operating the platform and applications supporting the fully automated SAP HANA development process. Development is based on Open Source components like Linux, C++, Python, Rust, Git and Docker.
