Management and Conception of (international) strategic projects on behalf of the Executive Board and Managing Directors with the support of the Management Team Strategy (e.g., development of new strategies, strategic reorganization projects)
Ste-by-step responsibility for (sub-) projects and functional support & coordination of project teams (central functions / divisions)
Organization of market activity analyses for assigned business areas / competitors and advisory of senior leadership in evaluating strategic opportunities and challenges
Further development, implementation, and maintenance of assigned strategic methods and processes as well as coordination of the execution of annual Knorr-Bremse strategy process for assigned business segments
Analysis and evaluation of strategic business segments and potential candidates for acquisition / joint ventures, including leading initiatives to identify new acquisition candidates
For assigned business areas, definition / detailing of M&A strategies and follow-up of the execution of defined target short lists
Support of M&A projects (e.g., due diligences)
Coordination and preparation of strategy communication and decision documents, e.g., for the capital market or other key stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
You have an excellent university degree (Master/MBA/Doctorate), preferably in engineering or economics
You have first professional experience / finished trainee program in a high-level strategy consulting, investment bank or related corporate function
You have excellent project management skills
You bring strong affinity for technical products and markets
You have very good analytical and conceptual skills, as well as business sense and a high degree of flexibility
You are skilled in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and are able to prepare results appropriately for a top management target group
You operate successfully in a team, building on cooperation and trusting relationships
