Job Summary:
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you are an integral part of the Brand & Communications & Marketing Team, collaborating with our lead designer as well as other members of the team and company. You will also be encouraged to work independently and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, undertaking your own design projects. At Lufthansa Innovation Hub (LIH), we view graphic design as a key tool for strengthening our brands through thoughtful and innovative design expressions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other designers to develop new concepts and designs for both digital and print media contributing to the Lufthansa Innovation Hub’s brand design system (websites, social media assets, email templates, brochures, flyers, infographics etc.)
- Be part of the creation of designs that are visually appealing and effective in communicating to our various target audiences.
- Research and stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices to ensure that our designs are innovative and effective.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and independently manage interactions with stakeholders.
Profiles:
- Have completed studies in the areas of graphic design, communication design or similar.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a design role.
- A strong portfolio showing design skills and projects.
- Knowledge of design trends and technologies.
- Understanding of print and digital design principles.
- Ability to take direction and work independently, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Great stakeholder management and organizational skills.
Valuable Additions:
- Photography and video shooting/editing skills.
- Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Touch points with travel (tech) and/or mobility.
