About the job:

As part of the Synpulse Legal and Compliance Department, this role will be responsible for providing general and administrative support to the Group Head Legal and Compliance across a range of legal and compliance matters in Europe, US, and APAC.

Your function:

Assist Legal and Compliance team in implementing compliance risk management framework.
Responsible for day-to-day operation of third-party risk management process, including conducting and reviewing clients due diligence, responding to inquiries, and acting as primary POC with internal stakeholders for compliance matters.
Assist in drafting and/or reviewing compliance and control-related standard operating procedures.
Review and revise compliance policies and recommend additional processes and procedures, as necessary.
Draft documents, conduct research, prepare correspondence, and work effectively with internal and external business stakeholders.
Perform legal and factual research.
Extend support in the preparation, review, and negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, terms and amendments for clients located in Europe, US, and APAC.
Provide support in contract preparation for internal review and approval and ensure compliance with company policies as well as applicable local laws or regulations.
Carry out full range of general and administrative duties necessary to support the Legal and Compliance Department.
Assist Group Head Legal and Compliance in other delegated tasks from time to time.

About you:

Graduate of Bachelor of Laws with good academic credentials.
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Junior Compliance Specialist.
Fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is a plus.
Relevant professional experience or education in an English or German speaking/common law country a must.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently and collaboratively under pressure within a growing team and consistently meet tight deadlines.
Superior interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, and strong attention to detail.
A fast learner that develops themselves and others around them.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Technology-savvy, proficient in all Google and Microsoft applications.
