Junior Compliance and Sustainability Manager (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• As part of our compliance team in our holding, you support in the development, implementation and monitoring of a compliance program for our whole HSH Chemie Group as well as in the adaption of such based on local requirements
• This includes the following topics: Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Taxonomy, Anti-Trust, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Cyber Security, Due Diligence (DD), Health & Safety, Know Your Customer (KYC), Procurement, Risk Assessment, Staff Training, Whistleblowing
• Therefore, you are collaborating with our local compliance colleagues as well as external stakeholders (such as regulatory authorities, lawyers, auditors, insurers, financial institutions) and internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, IT, Finance/Accounting, Sales)
• Additionally, you foster the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives
• Furthermore, you support in the preparation and conduction of ISO audits as well as internal audits
• You develop compliance policies, procedures and practices as well as related trainings
• To ensure that we live up to our high standards in the long term, you keep track regulatory changes and regularly conduct compliance risk assessments
  
  

Your Profile

• You successfully finishing your studies with a focus on Compliance, Sustainability or Law and gained first professional in one of these fields
• Furthermore, you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and deadlines
• Your proactive, structured and reliable approach to work make you the right candidate
• Based on your outgoing personality you feel comfortable approaching our international colleagues and managers
• Your interest in chemical raw materials and distribution make your start with us even smoother
• Additionally, your target group oriented communication style and fluency in English as well as German language (written and spoken) convince us
