The Getinge IT Solutions GmbH is looking for a new member of their development team in Hamburg with the competence of a

Java-Developer (m/f/d) for a Hospital Information System - temporary position 12 months

In this position, you will be responsible for every aspect of development for our product myMedis/Torin (which is a flexible Hospital Information System, used to optimize clinical and administrative workflows).

Your responsibilities:

• Creation, Extension and Maintenance of Features for our Java based solution
• As a full stack developer, the scope of tasks will typically reach from UI tasks to business logic to database changes
• Participation in the typical Scrum activities
• Discussion of requirements with the Product Owner
• Development and Release testing
• Preparation of the necessary documentation
• Third-level support
• Preparation of estimates and technical concepts

Your profile:

• Degree in Informatics, Software-Technology, Software-Engineering or comparable
• Experience in developing Java Applications (knowledge of Swing is a plus but not mandatory).
• Clean code and Design patterns are concepts you are familiar with
• Basic knowledge of SQL for relational databases (MS-SQL)
• Ideally some experience with common development tools, like: Microsoft DevOPS, GIT, Eclipse, Sonar
• You are a team player in a Scrum Team who likes sharing ideas and opinions and who works quality oriented, independently and reliably
• You have good English-speaking capabilities, preferably German as well
