Forte Group is looking for a Senior IT System Administrator.

Hybrid role: 3 days in-office per week, with flexible day selection.

Our client is a leading general contractor specializing in high-quality interior fit-out projects in the hospitality, retail, and restaurant sectors. We offer tailored solutions from concept to completion, focusing on exceptional quality and close collaboration with our clients. To drive further growth and success, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated IT Administrator (m/f/d) to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, support daily operations, and strategically align technology processes to support our business goals.

Scope of the Role:

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing all hardware and software for the German business as a leader within the global corporate IT department. This role includes providing daily IT support, developing the IT infrastructure, and strategically aligning technological processes to improve the company’s digital maturity.

Role Objectives:

• Ensure seamless IT operations across the organization, regionally and globally.
• Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy.
• Support the optimization of processes and technologies to prepare the company for the next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

Technology Management:

• Oversee and maintain all IT systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Manage end-user devices (phones, printers, desktops/laptops) and provide technical support for troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, backups, and wireless networks.
• Integrate and optimize applications to support business processes effectively.

Support and Collaboration:

• Deliver technical support for all employees in day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with senior management and the global IT team to ensure IT aligns with strategic goals.

Strategic IT Development:

• Analyze and improve existing processes to create an efficient and modern IT environment.
• Bridge technology gaps to enhance IT maturity.

Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, ideally with responsibility for overall IT operations.
• Solid expertise in application integration and IT infrastructure management.
• Experience managing servers, firewalls, backups, and end-user devices.
• Familiarity with Bau4all is advantageous but not required.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take responsibility.
