We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT/AV Support Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting an international office in Berlin. This is a key role that will involve providing onsite IT and audiovisual (AV) support services to ensure the effective operation of workplace services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide help desk services to the user community and collaborate with IT stakeholders, both locally and remotely.
  2. Offer support in hardware issues, user proximity assistance, and AV equipment management.
  3. Facilitate seamless virtual and hybrid meetings and events by managing AV setup and technical support.
  4. Serve as the focal point for all IT and AV-related matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Handle incidents and service requests promptly, ensuring smooth office operations.
  6. Work creatively and analytically in problem-solving situations, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Proven experience in coordinating and delivering IT-business projects across different locations and departments under pressure.
  2. Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to assess challenges and formulate actionable plans.
  3. Ability to interact and negotiate effectively with senior international stakeholders.
  4. A comprehensive understanding of the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  5. Skilled in building relationships with internal and external customers, coordinating activities across multiple parties.
  6. Effective multi-tasking, with the ability to synthesize information quickly, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent communication (oral and written), problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  8. Proactive, flexible, and resourceful, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Demonstrated expertise in planning, coordination, and organization.
  10. Proficiency in English is essential; basic German knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience providing end-user support in a corporate environment.
  3. Experience in first and second-level IT support, preferably in international organizations, service centers, or call center environments.
  4. At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting and organizing hybrid meetings with complex AV setups.
  5. Experience working in a UN or similar international environment is an asset.
