The department IT Application Services is the partner when it comes to the planning and implementation of IT solutions as well as its operations. Our team Logistics cares for the IT systems and processes for all business units on a global level with respect to transportation and warehouse management as well as global trade services. To cope with the requirements in this area, we especially rely on SAP products like SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), S/4HANA incl. Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

This job posting refers to tasks in the area of Logistics Execution (EWM / WM / Delivery Handling).

Your Responsibilities

1. Contribute to our S/4HANA journey with consultancy and hands-on implementation.
2. Evaluate business demands with respect to functional and IT fit (as-is and strategic view).
3. Develop and customize new functionalities or adapt existing ones, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives, efficiency, and scalability.
4. Implement and maintain integrations between SAP LE and other relevant systems to ensure seamless data flow.
5. Utilize programming languages such as ABAP to create and modify SAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
6. Contribute to operations with C-Level expertise.
7. Keep yourself up-to-date with market solutions and IT trends and share that knowledge with your environment.
8. Provide solution & technology consulting, actively partner and collaborate with internal and external business partners during requirement gathering and project execution.
9. Foster a culture for improvements and innovations by driving Covestro’s C3 values.

What You Offer

1. You have a university degree in computer science, business informatics, other related studies, or equivalent qualifications.
2. You can demonstrate experience with SAP LE and have excellent technical as well as business process knowledge in this area, including related logistics topics and modules like TM, MM, SD.
3. You possess sound project management and leadership skills.
4. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. You have experience working in agile teams and have outstanding analytical and strategic skills.
6. You are open-minded, communicate and interact professionally with internal and external colleagues of diverse cultures and benefit from this collaboration.
