IT Security Engineer (m/f/x)

• Implement Robust Security Strategies: Your primary objective is to proactively protect our organization from security threats by formulating and implementing robust security strategies.
• Collaborate Across Teams: You will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to champion security best practices across the company, fostering a culture of vigilance and ensuring that cybersecurity concepts resonate with all colleagues.
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Your key goals include maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards in partnership with auditors, while driving a continuous improvement mindset.
• Respond Swiftly to Security Incidents: You will take the lead in efficiently and effectively managing and resolving security incidents.
• Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats: Your role is integral to injecting innovative security solutions into our infrastructure, fortifying our defences, and elevating our overall security posture.

Your Strengths

• Experienced in Cybersecurity and Regulatory Frameworks: You bring a solid foundation with over 3 years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer, coupled with expertise in IT infrastructure and/or software development in both traditional and cloud environments. Additionally, you are well-versed in industry-standard frameworks and European financial regulations, potentially supported by relevant certifications.
• Drive & Vision for Cybersecurity: Beyond standard SOC duties, you have the drive and vision to reshape our company's cybersecurity landscape.
• Analytical and Solution-Oriented: You excel in analyzing complex security issues and devising effective solutions.
• Clear Communicator: Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders is a valuable asset.
• Familiar with ITIL Processes: You navigate through ITIL-oriented environments like it is second nature to you, and you may even bring valuable experience with ITIL-based processes to the table.
