IT Security Analyst

I'm working with a renowned global company, expanding through new projects and prioritizing employee well-being with great benefits and incentives. They are seeking an IT Security Analyst to join their ambitious team, offering a competitive salary of €100k DOE and clear career progression.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage incident responses in the Cyber Defense Center.
2. Interpret alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other systems.
3. Analyze log data to recommend countermeasures.
4. Identify anomalies and stop attacks.
5. Provide defence advice based on known methods (e.g., MITRE techniques).
6. Improve SOC processes and overall security measures.

Skill Requirements:

1. Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
2. 3+ years experience in a Security Analyst role or similar.
3. Experience working in IT security systems such as SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, or EDR/XDR.
4. Good understanding of network security and operating systems like Windows and Linux, with experience in log analysis.
5. C1+ German speaking level.

Desirable Skills:

1. Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, SANS, GIAC or similar.
2. Strong communicator in German and English.
