Key Responsibilities

• You will take on disciplinary leadership responsibility for several teams. In the understanding of a "Servant Leader", you will work intensively with our techies and always keep an eye on their individual needs and strengths.
• In regular exchanges (1on1, team discussions, onboarding, etc.), you accompany their personal development, actively promote positive interaction and are a reliable and trustworthy contact person for you as a coach at all times.
• You already play a central role in attracting new talent to your team and take an active leadership role throughout the recruitment process.
• You accompany your team members from recruitment (close cooperation with HR) to onboarding and their development journey in regular feedback and development cycles.
• Beyond your teams, you always keep an eye on the big picture, promote exchange with other teams and departments and guide overarching development processes.
• To this end, you involve all relevant players in the Scrum process in your work and promote the exchange with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other sparring partners at all times.
• Internally, we practice a holistic management structure that sees technical and disciplinary management as complementary elements. Your role will focus on the disciplinary and personnel support of the teams, while working closely with the technical supervisors to promote motivated and self-organized agile teams.
• Together with the Head of People & Culture - IT, you will develop concepts and ideas for the personal development of talents in regular exchange. As your supervisor, you also keep them up to date on relevant events and topics from your teams.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• You have a certain affinity for IT or have already worked in an IT-related environment.
• You have an idea of agile working and are enthusiastic about technological issues, at best you have heard of different programming languages, AWS, MySQL, serverless, TDD or similar - or at least you are very interested in getting into it a little.
• Your developers should feel that you have a basic understanding of their daily work.
• You yourself are convinced that you can always get better and better and have the ambition to empower others to do the same.
• You have a good feeling for people, have a creative and proactive will to shape things and also have a pragmatic implementation mentality in change processes.
• Initial experience in leadership and coaching of individuals and groups of people is an advantage.
• Fluency in German as well as very good knowledge of English is a prerequisite.
