Requirements - Completed IT vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist (m/f/d), alternatively as a network technician (m/f/d), or ideally a completed IT degree or comparable.
- Very good knowledge of common network topologies, protocols, and systems in LAN, WLAN (HPE Aruba), and WAN, as well as in the security area.
- Ideally, experience with next-generation firewalls (FortiNet).
- Interest in virtual machines (VMware), Windows Servers, and (Azure) Active Directory/Entra.
- Your profile is rounded out by good written and spoken English skills (at least conversational level), as well as a high degree of reliability, independence, and a sense of responsibility.
Tasks & Responsibilities - Support and optimization of existing network and WLAN environments in a global environment.
- Support of firewalls worldwide in collaboration with a service provider.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of systems.
- Planning and implementation of national and international IT projects, particularly the introduction or conversion of on-premise and cloud solutions in the network and security areas.
- Creation of documentation; training of the IT support team.
- Management of external service providers.
