IT Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Manufacturing Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in on-site enterprise support solutions across our manufacturing and R&D facilities in the region. This position is key in aligning IT services with business objectives, working collaboratively with IT Business Partners, and supporting the overall strategy in conjunction with our Global IT team.

As our IT Manufacturing Technician, you will offer guidance and escalation support to various business teams, including Advanced Operations, Engineering, and R&D. In this dynamic role, your primary focus will be on delivering top-notch hardware and software support that aligns seamlessly with our company's technical and quality standards.

Main Accountabilities:

• Actively participate in securing and containing the manufacturing environment.
• Provide Level 2 support related to Manufacturing and R&D issues, including desktop, operating systems, antivirus, and application software. Implement development changes as required and ensure that technical issues are resolved, with solutions properly documented.
• Work on approved Global IT Projects, ensuring the integration of all new manufacturing systems in line with Global IT and Industry 4.0 standards.
• Have a good understanding of machine-level integration.
• Recommend business processes and implement system changes to improve efficiency, cost savings, and business outcomes.
• Contribute to discussions on manufacturing business projects related to IT hardware, connectivity, and software.

Requirements and qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area required.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

• Works independently without supervision.
• Experience with IT systems in a manufacturing and R&D environment is preferred.
