The Team
The IT Governance Team, part of the Portfolio & Governance Office, plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the integrity of our organization's technology landscape. The team ensures that our IT systems, processes and data management practices align with the highest standards of security, compliance and operational excellence. Focused on driving governance and risk management, the IT Governance Team collaborates across departments to implement policies and controls that protect our organization, enable innovation, and meet both internal and external compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities
The IT Governance Analyst will play a critical role in assessing current governance practices, monitoring needs and opportunities of framework improvements in sync with internal policies, external regulations and best practices. This position blends hands-on implementation and facilitation of governing activities, monitoring & tracking decision making forums, providing framework for policy and process management, support internal audits and tracking action plans, helping to maintain the integrity of IT governance and process management framework. You will identify gaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements and controls, produce regular reports. This role requires a strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, internal audit framework and industry-specific regulations. Daily responsibilities include:
- Technology Benchmarking: IT / Technology benchmarking to assess maturity of processes, policies and services provided by SN Technology. Assessing gaps and weaknesses compared to IT governance best practices and making proposals for improvement considering strategic priorities.
- Technology Governance Framework Improvement Planning & Monitoring: You develop a systematic and coherent SN Technology decision making governance framework with clear mandates and responsibilities. Conduct communication, support implementation and operation of the related forums and bodies, ensure proper documentation of proposals and decisions processed by the bodies. You work on proposals and implementations to provide the right information and tool set to improve transparency for the Technology Senior Leadership team and Business Partners.
- Technology Process, Policy and Guidance Improvement: You assess improvement needs and maturity of process and policy set working closely with process and policy owners. Define a framework of lifecycle management, define responsibilities and ensure accessibility of the documentations. Map documentation gaps and address these to find the right ownership. You will work with SN GRC to harmonize publication channels of Technology documents and improve document management.
- Technology Operating Model Harmonization & Change Management: You work with the SN Technology Leadership Team and Portfolio & Governance Office to identify and initiate harmonizations in Technology related operating model and methodologies. Identify unification and simplification opportunities, make proposals and plan implementation of the necessary changes. You support stakeholder organizations in change management, ensure proper communication and documentation. With the harmonization initiatives you support SN Technology to deliver higher business value and provide more transparency and high compliance level to the business.
- Support Internal Audits: Support audits of IT systems, processes and policies to ensure alignment with compliance frameworks, facilitate SN Technology activities and participation in the audit process. Support planning of mitigation actions answering to audit findings and identifying areas of improvement.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate detailed reports on compliance metrics, audit findings and risk assessments and present insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support Training and Awareness Initiatives: Participate in developing and delivering training programs to promote usage of governance framework across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Search for improvement opportunities on framework elements and practices, process compliance, application of regulatory, and quality of IT product delivery. Bring ideas and proposals in these areas and support the implementation.
About YOU
Your experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT governance or IT audit roles with hands-on exposure to IT governance framework management, process and policy compliance or similar functions.
- Demonstrated experience with policy management, process compliance monitoring and internal audit support within an international IT environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., SO 27001, NIST, COBIT and more), especially in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
- Strong history of collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders, demonstrating ability to understand and align with business needs while ensuring outcomes of initiatives deliver value.
Your qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of the technology operating models in larger organizations, also in related regulations must comply with (data protection, accessibility standards, AI-regulations, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with the end-to-end view, ability to interpret data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language for preparing detailed reports and interacting with stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable but not required.
