What you’ll do

As a member of our team, you will:

• Collaborate with our SAP marketing teams to plan and provide technical support for small SAP meetings and events.
• Install and operate the IT infrastructure for events (notebooks, servers, mobile devices, tools, and meeting technology).
• Support the IT project manager for the respective events.
• Produce and support MS Teams live events and host Zoom meetings/Zoom webinars for internal and external audiences of any size.
• Reflect on your work and help your team continuously improve our services.
• Ideally, program and further develop internal tools for planning and managing events and event equipment or IT services.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who takes the initiative, is persistent, and remains curious. We are looking for you if you have the following qualities:

• High ability and willingness to work under pressure, even on ad-hoc tasks.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Open working style and openness to new ideas.
• Fluent English and German language skills, oral and written.
• Programming knowledge in SAP Fiori or other programming languages is a big plus.
• Willingness to travel and work on weekends is essential.
• 2+ years of professional experience in IT and networking.
• 2+ years of professional experience in event support/event management.

To this end, the IT Event Services EMEA team coordinates and delivers all IT services for SAP's customer and employee events within the EMEA region. The team supports over 200 events a year, from small trade show appearances to large events with over 10,000 participants across Europe.
