IT Administrator (Focus on Network, Firewall, and IT Security) (m/f/d)

As an IT Administrator specializing in Network, Firewall, and IT Security, you will be responsible for managing and securing our company's IT infrastructure. Your primary duties will include the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of network equipment, firewalls, and security systems. You will also be tasked with identifying potential security vulnerabilities and implementing measures to safeguard our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Configure and maintain firewalls to protect the company’s network and ensure secure communication channels.
• Management of remote access solutions (e.g., VPN).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest IT security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Coordinate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on network security and best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and security incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in network administration, firewall management, and IT security.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and German and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
