Your profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Expertise in industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus) and IIoT hardware/software ecosystems, ideally with direct experience in manufacturing, energy, logistics, or similar industrial domains
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, JavaScript) and data processing tools (e.g., Node-RED, Kafka)
• Knowledge of edge computing platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) as well as experience integrating data with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub)
• Proven track record in deploying IIoT solutions in industrial environments and hands-on experience in setting up hardware and software on industrial machines
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, or digital twin solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges paired with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical complexity to divers stakeholders
• Proactive, innovative mindset with a focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions

Your mission

• Deploy and configure sensors, edge devices, and controllers on recycling machines for real-time data acquisition
• Set up and manage connectivity solutions using industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus)
• Design and implement edge computing solutions for on-site data processing and analytics
• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines to integrate machine data with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end IIoT solutions tailored to business needs
• Troubleshoot and optimize deployed IIoT systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Ensure industrial-grade security and compliance in all IIoT solutions
