Your Impact
As a Senior Smart Contracts Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the smart contract foundation of our Web3 Open Cloud Platform. Collaborating closely with tokenomics experts, engineers, and stakeholders, you’ll drive the design and development of secure, efficient, and innovative smart contracts that empower our platform’s functionality and enhance user experience. Your expertise will directly influence the strategic direction of our architecture, supporting our mission to build a robust, scalable ecosystem.
Design and Architect: Create robust and scalable smart contract architectures that meet project specifications and requirements.
Develop High-Quality Smart Contracts for EVM-compatible networks (Base):
a. Build secure and efficient smart contracts in Solidity.
b. Use static analysis tools regularly to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
c. Apply performance optimization techniques identified through static analysis and best practices.
d. Develop comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure reliability and performance.
Ensure Security:
Conduct thorough internal security audits and collaborate with external security partners to safeguard smart contract code.
Deploy and Maintain Contracts:
Deploy smart contracts on both Testnet and Mainnet environments.
Provide ongoing support and upgrades for deployed contracts as needed.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with other teams to facilitate seamless integration of smart contracts within larger application ecosystems.
Uphold Industry Standards:
a. Consistently apply best practices in security, efficiency, and compliance to all development and deployment processes.
Software Development Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development, ideally within fintech, DeFi, crypto/blockchain, or financial services industries.
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
Blockchain Expertise: In-depth understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
EVM Proficiency: Extensive experience working with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its unique execution model.
Solidity Mastery: Excellent knowledge and proven experience with Solidity programming language, including secure coding practices and optimization techniques.
Security Awareness: Strong knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities, security best practices, and techniques for mitigating risks in blockchain applications.
Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong understanding of development principles, including design patterns, testing, version control, and CI/CD.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first, cross-functional team environment.
Smart Contract Deployment: Proven experience deploying and managing production-grade smart contracts with complex functionality.
Open Source Contributions: Experience contributing to or building open-source projects, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and code transparency.
