About the Position:
The incumbent serves as a senior Human Resources Specialist (Classification), performing operational assignments in the Civilian Human Resources Agency. The Civilian Human Resources Service Center exercises world-wide command and control over the Army's entire civilian personnel operational structure consisting of all CONUS and OCONUS Human Resources Regional Processing Centers.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) applying a wide range of federal civilian human resources concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies, precedents to managers/employees on classification and position management; 2) providing complex position classification advisory services to assigned organization; 3) determining appropriate pay plan, occupational series, title and grade level based on classification standards/guidelines AND 4) utilizing various human resources automated programs, position classification automated systems and personnel data systems such as Fully Automated Systems for Classification (FASCLASS) and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System Portal (DCPDS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
