Verantwortung & Tätigkeit

As HR Business Partner (m/f/d) for our Headquarter Amstelveen you will report directly to the Corporate Director of Human Resources and have a dotted line to HR from our hotel operator Aimbridge.

Your tasks in detail:

  • You are the first point of contact and build a strong relationship with your managers in the Countries Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and France.
  • You accompany and support managers in the planning and implementation of organisational measures.
  • You are responsible for HR work along the employee lifecycle.
  • You advise our managers as a partner at eye level on their HR and leadership topics.
  • You implement the HR strategy for the support area in line with the company's HR strategy and in cooperation with the Competence Center (Talent Acquisition, HR Operation, etc.).
  • You support process optimization in collaboration with other HR colleagues to ensure transparent and effective HR processes.
  • You lead and support projects to support the growth of the Borealis Hotel Group, if required in overarching HR projects, e.g. HR processes and HR digitalisation.
  • You ensure that the management of the support area is informed and advised on all personnel, social, labour law and HR policy matters in compliance with the company's HR guidelines.
  • You organise and implement the necessary HR tasks in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, personnel development and planning, controlling, succession planning, organisational development, compensation & benefits in accordance with hotel requirements/focus areas and in coordination with HR Corporate.
  • You advise and train colleagues on HR guidelines, standards and processes & tools.
  • You work in close cooperation with our HR teams, e.g. Talent Acquisition and HR Operation.

Qualifikationen & Skills

  • You bring with you a degree in economics, law, psychology or similar, ideally with a focus on HR, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience as HR Business Partner, ideally in an (international) corporation, in particular in the areas of People/HR Business Partnering, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, People Development.
  • You have experience in managing projects and initial experience in creating new structures and processes.
  • You have the ability to translate business requirements into workable HR solutions.
  • You have a modern understanding and passion for HR work at eye level.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, and your profile is rounded off by the confident use of common IT applications and preferably Personio.
  • You have good knowledge of individual and collective labour law in the Netherlands and nice to have in Belgium.
  • You have an analytical and agile mindset that enables you to identify potential for process improvements and scale the organisation quickly.
  • You bring with you empathy and a willingness to engage with people, and to use both sensibly and effectively.
