Job Description

We are excited to invite you to apply for the position of Strategic HR Business Partner for our DACH Cluster (m/f/d) in Munich, offered on a permanent and part-time (80%) basis.

In this role, you will work closely with senior line leaders, including Senior and Executive Directors, along with their teams within our Animal Health Commercial Team across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, while actively partnering with local HR to ensure alignment and effectiveness in our HR initiatives.

As the Strategic HR Business Partner, you will ensure that global HR goals align with our business strategy in the DACH region, keeping relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in mind. You will manage strategic HR topics while collaborating with our Center of Excellence as part of our HR Operating Model.

Your role involves providing both strategic and everyday HR support to our clients, focusing on a variety of important areas, including employee engagement, culture change, talent development, succession planning, performance management, retention, compensation and rewards, as well as organizational design and the associated people implications. Additionally, you will draft works council agreements that promote a modern and competitive workplace, while also promoting effective team-building initiatives.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Adequate studies, such as business administration, Law, Psychology, Human Resources Management, minimum of 8 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner.
  • Stakeholder management of multiple decision makers, corporate colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
  • Profound knowledge of German Labor / collective bargaining-law and in working with works councils.
  • Work experience in international companies and working in matrix organizations.
  • Understanding business needs with a Hands-on mentality.
  • Well organized, able to focus on multiple issues and prioritize effectively.
  • Solution-oriented approach to work and ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to project manage multiple projects and initiatives through to successful delivery.
  • Experience in using Data, Insights and Best Practice to shape our future.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - fluency in German and English is required.
  • Willingness to travel 15%.
