The Role

Proximity to our teams is key and given your European Integration and local evolvement, this role has been re-engineered to support the execution of key HR processes, act as a sparring partner to local teams and leaders on people related issues and work alongside the European HR and Operations Leaders to help drive initiatives and projects. The role also supports key administrative people related elements that need to be executed via our HRIS Personio. The role therefore combines hands-on operational HR with some strategic elements as well as administration in a dynamic and professional sector.

In detail, the newly established position involves managing the entire HR cycle for the DACH/BLX teams:

  • Intern & Junior Recruitment
    • Driving and executing university and employer branding efforts
    • Screening intern applications, conducting initial interviews
    • Supporting the recruitment of M&A professionals, liaising with headhunters and candidates, conducting initial interviews, and managing administrative processes
    • Ensuring all program elements run smoothly, including induction days and mentoring programs
  • On/Offboarding
    • Managing all on- and offboarding processes for interns and permanent hires, including preboarding, new joiner engagement, and process improvements
  • Support local Employer Branding efforts
  • Support the execution of local staff performance management, review, and promotional processes
  • Handle compensation and benefits processes, including administrative follow-up
  • Drive the implementation of engagement survey action items
  • Manage employee relations and ensure employment law compliance
  • Facilitate development initiatives, including secondment and mentoring programs
  • Ensure successful implementation of new HRIS tools locally
  • Collaborate with payroll and handle HR administration
  • Oversee company health-related initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations, working closely with global compliance teams
  • Collaborate with the Training and Development function to identify local needs and support continuous team development
  • Support office management and assistants in weekly scheduling coordination
  • Support other local, European, and global projects

Additionally, the role involves driving and managing European Talent Attraction, Acquisition, and Employer Branding:

  • Lead the European rollout and implementation of Greenhouse, becoming an SME for European HR stakeholders
  • Drive the approach to European University Marketing and implement a pan-European Graduate Program
  • Collaborate with recruiters across Europe, centralizing and harmonizing terms
  • Develop and implement strategic employer branding initiatives across Europe
  • Develop a joint alumni approach and strategy
  • Manage Glassdoor/LinkedIn presence and leverage other social media
  • Innovate and improve talent acquisition and engagement functions
  • Foster knowledge sharing within the team and mentor other members
  • Work closely with European and US colleagues

Key Candidate Requirements

  • HR BP experience (2-5 years) within a professional services environment, with hands-on operational responsibilities
  • Exposure to employer branding initiatives or junior/graduate recruitment programs is advantageous
  • Diligent, data-driven approach, with a focus on administrative accuracy and data analysis
  • University degree in a related field
  • Interest in covering the entire HR cycle, engaging with various HR subject areas, and shaping processes in a European setting
  • IT and systems affinity, with experience in leveraging tools like Greenhouse, Personio, and Workday
  • Confident, agile personality, comfortable in a professional, international, fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of the business drivers, and impact on HR functions
  • Ability to think independently and contribute ideas
  • People-oriented, relationship-building, and team-oriented style
  • Organized, energetic, capable of prioritizing multiple projects
  • Flexibility to engage in other HR or Operations-related projects
  • Fluent in German and English, with an additional European language being a plus
