About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain (M/F/D) to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing industry. This role is based in Frankfurt and will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of supply chain processes to support the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution to ensure optimal resource utilization and timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including production, quality, and sales, as well as external partners, to streamline operations and meet customer demands.
• Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and corporate policies.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize advanced analytics and ERP systems to monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Drive sustainable practices within the supply chain, aligning with corporate environmental goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing successful teams.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards (e.g., GMP, ISO).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and German.
