To further develop our business strategy and identify growth opportunities, we are looking for a "Head of Strategy (m/f/d)" at our headquarter in Mainz, Germany. We are seeking a talent who is excited to drive change with a great deal of influence and with creative freedom - and who is motivated to take on a full P&L responsibility in the future.

In your role as Head of Strategy, you …

• provide key inputs to further develop the strategy of SCHOTT Pharma within and outside the strategic business field as a sparring partner for the Management team.
• coordinate the group-wide strategic planning process and create market-, competitor- and technology analysis, derive strategic imperatives thereof and identify and evaluate relevant business potentials (on revenue and/or cost side).
• define and derive strategic initiatives in the areas of new business development, product portfolio optimization, business process and cost optimization and M&A.
• identify opportunities and risks related to the achievement of the strategic goals.
• are part of the SCHOTT Pharma Management Team and report directly to our CEO, leading a small, dedicated team.

Your Tasks

In your role as Head of Strategy, you …

• provide key inputs to further develop the strategy of SCHOTT Pharma within and outside the strategic business field as a sparring partner for the Management team.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or natural sciences (PhD is a plus).
• At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, ideally in an international management consultancy with a focus on the life sciences industry (pharma/medtech/diagnostics). Experience in a corporate setting is not a requirement, but a plus.
• Profound understanding of market and competitor analysis, financial parameters, portfolio management, and defining growth strategies.
• Pragmatic but analytical, focused and structured working approach.
