Head of Marketing LAB & CCS (m / w / d)

Our client, based in Fribourg, is looking for a Communications Officer, reporting to the Head of Comms & PR. Please note that this is a 100% onsite role in Fribourg, Switzerland.

Tasks

1. Develop, write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and social media content.
2. Promote communications materials through appropriate social channels.
3. Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns.
4. Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards.
5. Work with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns.
6. Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications.
7. Develop escalation protocols for managing communication crises, should they arise.

Requirements

1. 3+ years prior experience in a communications or marketing role.
2. Understanding of the best practices of main social media channels.
3. Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content.
4. Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.
5. Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices.
7. Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts.
8. Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.
9. Fluent in French and English is a must.
10. This role is open to Swiss / EU / EFTA citizens or people with a valid and transferable Swiss work permit only.

You will be in direct contact with the group's managers and shareholders in an organization offering an exciting and unconventional work environment with diversified field missions abroad.
